On full day charters (~9hrs), we aim to travel further up the western Fraser Island coastline.

We fish for pelagic species with a range of techniques using mostly lure and soft plastics, or fly fishing.  Please contact us prior to booking if you are intending to fly fish so that we can ensure we have the correct fly gear available for your chosen date. 

Mid October to mid December - full day charters will be targeting our juvenile black marlin on spin or fly tackle.

We target a wide range of species with various trevallys, longtail and mac tuna, mackerel, queenfish, black marlin (Oct - Dec only) and snapper (winter only)  just a few that we may encounter.

Our charters are fully guided, taking private groups and individuals on our 5.5 - 6.8m open, centre console sportfishing vessels.

Our reef fishing fishing is limited to inshore reefs in winter generally with lures depending on the tide and weather conditions for species such as cod, sweetlip etc.


Please note - we are not a deep sea, reef fishing or 'bottom bashing' charter and we don't target species such as red emperor, pearl perch, mahi mahi etc.


Inclusions

  • All fishing equipment is included in pricing (excluding flies, which are provided on a replace-on-loss basis)
  • Morning tea and bottled water.

Departure and Return Times  

Departure Time- 630 am  

Return Times Full Day - 330 pm 

(Return times can be subject to change due to weather/tides)

Inclusions

Full day tour includes morning tea, bottled water. BYO lunch due to COVID restrictions.

All fishing equipment is provided (except flies).  Rods or Reels lost or intentionally damaged will incur replacement costs. 

Additional Information                                                                                                                

Please bring adequate sunscreen, hat and rain/spray jacket.

Please advise of dietary requirements at time of booking.

Children travel at adult prices.   

Minimum age of children is 5 years.

Please advise prior to travel should a life jacket be required for children.
